Privacy Policy
The short version: typed conversations are not sent to us, we do not ask you to create an account, and we do not sell anything about you.

1. Conversations
In the current preview there is no chat server. The scripted dialogue engine and the transcript run locally in your browser. Optional speech features are provided by your browser as described below. What you type or say is not transmitted to us, is not written to any database, and disappears when you close the session. We cannot read your conversations because we never receive them.
2. Microphone and speech
If you use the microphone button, your browser's built-in speech recognition converts your speech to text. Depending on the browser you use, that conversion may happen on your device or on your browser vendor's servers, that behaviour belongs to your browser, not to us, and is covered by your browser vendor's privacy policy. We never receive the audio, and we do not record, store or transmit it. Tap the microphone button to start speech recognition and tap it again to stop. Closing the session also stops recognition, and you can use the site entirely by typing instead.
3. Storage on your device
We use your browser's local storage for an age-confirmation flag recording that you confirmed you are 18 or over and acknowledged that the characters are AI-generated, and your chosen appearance (light, dark, or system). These preferences keep your settings between visits. They stay on your device, are never transmitted, and clearing your browser data removes them. We do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
4. Server logs
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider records standard technical request data, IP address, timestamp, requested URL, user agent, for security and to keep the site running. These logs are retained for a short period by the provider and are not used to build a profile of you or combined with any conversation content (of which there is none).
5. Email you send us
If you email [email protected], we keep that message so we can reply and to keep a record of support requests. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a support email.
6. Your rights
Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA or a comparable law applies to you, you have rights to access, correct, delete and port personal data we hold about you, and to object to processing. Because we hold almost nothing, no account, no profile, no conversation history, a request will usually amount to your email correspondence and provider logs. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Children
The service is for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has used the service or contacted us, write to [email protected] and we will delete what we have.
8. Changes
If a future version of the service processes conversations on a server, which live AI video would require. This policy will be rewritten and dated before that version ships, and the change will be described plainly rather than buried. See the Safety & AI Policy for the commitments that apply either way.
